This pattern: protect the enforcers, attack the witnesses, shift the story, is exactly how movements with authoritarian tendencies keep people from seeing the reality on the ground. We have to pay attention to what’s actually happening, resist normalization, and demand transparency and justice for Renee, Alex, and all the innocent lives affected. Don’t you agree?
