Genuinely disappointed. I’ve seen four people come down the zipwire outside the @LibDems conference, and none of them have been @EdwardJDavey!

Lots on this week, including plenty of work on Saddleworth's Neighbourhood Plan, which now includes four new "Local Green Spaces" – protected areas which are given the same priority as "green belt".

After Elon Musk labelled @edwardjdavey a ‘snivelling cretin’, the Lib Dem leader tells @andrewmarr9 that he’s not 'worried' about the billionaire’s sharp tongue. Instead he is bothered about Musk’s calls to "overthrow" the UK’s democratically elected government.

Just watching @jessphillips on BBC Breakfast talking about a brilliant initiative to tackle domestic abuse through call centres. When we talk about constructive opposition, supporting things like this is, to my mind, what it is all about.

Councils across the UK are being pushed to breaking point by the spiralling costs of homelessness. The last Government failed to come to their aid. I therefore just asked this Chancellor and her team to urgently intervene to support our councils, and those facing homelessness👇

This is the difference a @LibDems MP can make.
Great to be joined by @ThomasMorrison for a useful meeting yesterday with Mark Garth and Gaynor Kenyon from United Utilities discussing sewage dumping, water quality and the need for the right investment in our infrastructure. We will keep pushing for our rivers to be cleaned up.

Last year, Oldham Council overspent by millions. This year it looks like they are doing even worse. Morale is on the floor, and good people are leaving. This looks like a horrendous failure to manage the council's finances.

Sir Keir insisted the government must do "the sums" before committing to scrap the two child benefit policy. Millions of families are currently doing "the sums" before committing to buy one hot meal a day. Maths is fun!
