One of my biggest Bitcoin regrets wasn’t buying at the top. It was not buying enough at $16,000. I remember opening X every day and seeing endless calls for $10k, $8k, even lower. The timeline was drowning in fear, uncertainty, and doom. I listened more than I should have. And I didn’t deploy as aggressively as I could have. Am I saying this is the bottom? No. Bitcoin could go lower tomorrow, next week, or next month. What I am saying is this: The exact same emotions, the exact same FUD, and the exact same hesitation I felt at $16k are the same emotions many people are feeling today. In a year or two, most won’t remember today’s fear. They’ll only remember the opportunity they didn’t take. Just like I remember $16k. Markets reward conviction and punish hesitation. Time has a way of making today’s scary prices look ridiculously cheap. I learned that lesson once. I’m not interested in learning it again. ₿

7 years ago today, Bitcoin closed at $4,011. The best opportunities rarely arrive with comfort. They arrive with fear, blood, and disbelief. Patience believers.

As we head lower in Bitcoin and crypto I want to remind you all that these things move in ebbs and cycles. You’ll never feel as bad as when the market is moving down, and you’ll never think it’s going to end when it’s climbing higher and you’re feel euphoric. You can however decide how you are reacting internally with your emotions. How you handle yourself during adversity. Just take a deep breath, a step back and know that no matter how long this bear market lasts, there will come a time again when everything is making you feel just the way you did before as bull markets will come back. Bitcoin and crypto will only keep expanding over time and we’re just now scratching the surface potential of utility that this industry will unleash. Not to mention how AI will speed this transition up tremendously as both work more and more in parallel towards a better future for us all. Just hang in there, and realize that from time to time we are reminded about those ebbs and flows, the volatility - our battle scars we earn through persevering through every bear market that never lasts forever. But we have to earn it. So embrace this bear market the best you can. Don’t let it get the best of your character. And know that we are all in it together 🤝
