Should ovarian tissue be harvested and stored before radiation to the pelvis in an adult woman? Can such a uterus successfully carry a pregnancy to term, even if I managed to spare only part of the uterus? Questions that arose in my mind in 2016.

The first truly collaborative effort in #ProstateCancer RT from India 🇮🇳.
✅ 19 centers, n=462
✅ All GG5, 80 %T3/4, 30% N
✅ All EBRT ADT, no brachy.
Med FU 56 m
💥 5-yr MFS, OS = 77.4%, 90.5% (not bad! 😊)
💥 On MVA Primary Gl 5 (5 5 & 5 4) worse than primary Gl 4 (4 5).

Outcomes following high dose rate #brachytherapy boost for high/intermediate risk #ProstateCancer.
Our report shows high efficacy (85% bPFS at 5 years in high risk patients) with low toxicity (HDR better than seeds?).
