FYI @noida_authority has floated a plan to demolish a park with 200 mature trees in sector 15A, Noida, to build a religious structure. So we took them to court.
Case ongoing in Allahabad High Court.

Heard some great news! Mumbai is cutting 46,000 trees to construct the Versova-Bhayander Coastal Road.
Very happy to see we are moving on from the regressive culture that considered every tree sacred to valuing money and cars. The western idea of progress is finally here! 😀

Apparently, this green space in Sector 15A… doesn’t exist.
Interesting, because residents walk here daily, birds thrive here, and even the walking paths and greenery are regularly maintained.
Wonder how that happens... 🤔
