This coverage is maddening. @aparnafordc grew up in a wealthy suburb of Philadelphia. She attended one of the most elite private schools in Vanderbilt University in Nashville. Later she decided move to DC and met and married a wealthy guy from Illinois.

Being short 500 police officers makes it difficult for officers to respond to and address these types of crimes.

Horrific gun violence across DC last night, including at 7th & O in Shaw, where 1 man was killed and 2 injured in a barrage of bullets.

Witnessed a wild robbery in a @lululemon today. Three men filled trash bags in the open and walked (not ran) out while staff and shocked customers watched it all happen. Nobody took action. Surreal to see.
