UAV flight at start shift for a tasking; then visited some of our teams 2 check in. I’m currently covering insp role managing all eastern SC’s, double crewed with our c/insp for force-both response, taser, drone & pursuit trained supporting response teams all night #volunteer

We attended a panic alarm activated in Ewell earlier, alarm 🚨 was being serviced but alarm engineer didn’t deactivate response to police b4 ‘testing’ it- 6min response time showed how well it worked! #specials

Second RTC car struck cyclist at 40mph in Leatherhead, cyclist has serious injuries aided by retired paramedic & police at scene until ambulance arrived. Driver dazzled by sun; please slow right down if visibility is obscured, beautiful evening but accidents still happen

First operational shift back today after broken wrist. Back to back RTCs- first in catherham a22 car v van, one jumped lights- minor injury both written off #specials #police #caterham

After a break (due 2 iniury) returned 2day to #epsomderby for 9th year. 16 specials worked UAV, PSU & Response alongside regulars. The UAV overwatch 4 event was purely resourced purely by specials (volunteers) for 13 hours today - many returning 2moz #police #volunteers

I’ve recently stepped up to temporarily cover as inspector for our Eastern division covering 5 boroughs for our special constabulary - in last four months the team has had amazing impact #specials #volunteers #police - all volunteers that fulfil same job as police officers

Double crewed last night with 3 other socials working Mole Valley on proactive burglary patrols; 1 male arrested for vehicle offences, 2 stop searches for drugs driving high powered electric bikes wearing balaclavas Leatherhead, 6 vehicles stopped & checked for Sus activity

Friday last week double crewed we responded to an RTC Leatherhead, a dangerous driver Dorking & a found a male wanted 4 carrying a knife & threats to a ex partner in Ewell; taser was drawn & male arrested multiple offences incl assault on police.

Finished work til new year.. so today policing. A man wanted for high risk domestic abuse ran; after foot chase male was arrested Leatherhead; responded to intruders on dorking, did foot patrols dorking & Leatherhead & stopped multiple vehicles

Working double crewed today- responded to reports of dangerous driving in Leatherhead; stopped a male suspected to carry a knife for domestic assault in Epsom and stop various vehicles in Leatherhead driving in convoy in an anti social way. Lastly UAV deployed for misper Reigate

After Yeo weeks out for training etc deployed to a high risk missing person found in Horley, a rural crime in Reigate, assist an RTC Redhill incl pushing car out of way and a further RTC in Epsom driver admitted he couldn’t see out windscreen 🤦‍♂️

Taken a bit of a break on here. Single crewed today attended 2 x RTC (1 CR for cannabis possession), a house party Reigate assist first aid 16YO, intruders on Tadworth, car meet in Epsom providing visible presence and process then a concern for youth in Leatherhead …
