The new Hungarian government has moved to abolish the National Oath introduced by the government before it, more than a decade ago.
Some are puzzled why. A document was found in which the Brussels bureaucrats explain to Peter Magyar what's wrong with that oath. The explanation follows each line in the Hungarian oath:
We are proud that our King Saint Stephen built the Hungarian State on solid foundations one thousand years ago and made our country part of Christian Europe. *We EUrocrats are against Christianity, it cannot be mentioned in official documents.
We are proud of our forebears who fought for the survival, freedom and independence of our country. *Can't talk about independence, as it'll be history and you're giving it up for EU domination.
We are proud that our people, over the centuries, defended Europe in a series of struggles and, through their talent and diligence, enriched its common values. *That's racist. We'll teach you the real meaning of 'enrichment'.
We recognize the role of Christianity in preserving nationhood. *We've told you already not to mention Christianity!!
We value the various religious traditions of our country. *Nice try, but you need to value the religious traditions of non-European countries! Otherwise you might value Christianity. Haven't you attended any of our satanic rituals?
We promise to preserve the intellectual and spiritual unity of our nation, torn into parts by the storms of the past century. *We operate the British divide and rule system. It is anti-EU to wish for a united nation!
We proclaim that the nationalities living with us are parts of the Hungarian political community and constituent factors of the State. *You can leave this one in here as we'll deliver new nationalities that you will have to cherish.
We undertake to cherish and preserve our heritage, our unique language, Hungarian culture, the languages and cultures of the nationalities in Hungary, and the natural and man-made values of the Carpathian Basin. *Unacceptable. Only Ukrainians are allowed to talk like this, because we need them to fight Russia. Join the war against Russia, and we can talk.
We bear responsibility for our descendants; therefore, through the careful use of our material, intellectual and natural resources, we shall protect the living conditions of future generations. *That is not allowed. The EU will undermine the future of your country.
We believe that our national culture contributes richly to the diversity of European unity. *You need to come for some Brussels training sessions on the meaning of diversity. It is to reduce whiteness by importing non-Euro.peans. Is that so hard to understand?
We respect the freedom and culture of other peoples and strive to cooperate with every nation of the world. *How on earth is that supposed to help? We have usurped foreign policy.
We hold that the foundation of human existence is human dignity. *Dignity for the new arrivals. The non-migrants will need to learn a life without dignity.
We hold that individual freedom can unfold only in cooperation with others. *You mean "in subjugation to the EU Commissars"?
We hold that the most important framework of our coexistence is the family and the nation, and that the fundamental values of our cohesion are fidelity, faith and love. *That's already too much talk about the family. How will those feel who don't have one of the old two genders?
We hold that the basis of the strength of the community and the honour of every person is work and the achievement of the human mind. *Work? We don't have time to get acquainted with concepts unknown to us.
We hold that helping the vulnerable and the poor is a duty. *Only if they are not white.
We hold that the common goal of citizens and the State is the achievement of the good life, security, order, justice and freedom. *This nostalgia may poison Hungarians against the hardships we are preparing for them. The good life is only for the EUrocrats.
We hold that true democracy exists only where the State serves its citizens and administers their affairs fairly, without abuse or partiality. *This sentence is clearly anti-EU.
We honour the achievements of our historical constitution and the Holy Crown, which embody the constitutional continuity of Hungary’s statehood and the unity of the nation. *See above. Your nation will be split and flooded with migrants, so such talk is inappropriate.
We do not recognize the suspension of our historical constitution due to foreign occupations. *The new occu.pation by the EU begins, so this is not helpful.
We deny any statute of limitations for the inhuman crimes committed against the Hungarian nation and its citizens under the rule of the National Socialist and Communist dictatorships. We do not recognize the communist constitution of 1949, because it was the basis of tyrannical rule; therefore, we declare it invalid.*This anti-authoritarian talk besmirches the goals of the founding fathers of the EU. To form the EU, the CIA took the Nazi economic program and combined it with the Soviet Union institutional design. So this statement is not helpful.
We agree with the members of the first freely elected National Assembly, who declared in their first decision that our present freedom sprang from the Revolution of 1956. *Talk of revolutions and insurgencies is not helpful. We need obedient citizens.
We date the restoration of our country’s lost self-determination from 2 May 1990, when the first freely elected popular representation was formed. We regard this day as the beginning of our country’s new democracy and constitutional order. *And the Hungarian entry to the EU is the end of that order. So let's not play this up unnecessarily.
We hold that, after the moral decline of the twentieth century, we are in urgent need of spiritual and intellectual renewal. *Trust the intellectual leadership of the unelected EUrocrats.
We trust in a jointly shaped future, in the commitment of the younger generations. *We'll make sure that there will largely be non-native younger generations in your schools.
Unfortunately, the government can no longer identify with these noble principles and guiding values, and with immediate effect has prohibited the display of this document in government offices and public institutions. This evokes memories of the communist era.
GOD, BLESS THE HUNGARIAN!
