I got in a fight with a Grizzly once. He's now a rug in my living room. He's not dead, he's just too afraid to stand up.

“We have always been at war with Eastasia.” George Orwell wrote that line in his famous novel, 1984, to describe how governments rewrite history in real time. In the novel, yesterday’s ally becomes today’s enemy, and the past is simply edited to match the present. Newspapers are changed, records destroyed, and anything that contradicts the current narrative disappears into what Orwell called the memory hole. The point Orwell was making was simple but chilling. If you control the past, you control how people understand the present. And if you control the present, you control the future. Which brings us to #Ukraine. Here we are showing a video from 2014, when ITV News Europe Editor James Mates reported on a day of violence in the eastern Ukrainian city of Mariupol. It is unlikely ITV will be replaying this report anytime soon, because it complicates the very simple story we are now told about Ukraine’s recent history. The war did not suddenly appear in 2022 out of nowhere. It began in 2014, after the overthrow of Ukraine’s government amid Western-backed unrest, with US politicians like John McCain on the ground supporting opposition forces. What followed was eight years of civil war in Eastern Ukraine. Shelling, civilian deaths, and refugees fleeing Donetsk, Luhansk, and Mariupol were reported by Western media at the time. This is not Russian propaganda. It is their footage. These are their reports. The truth is simple. The Ukrainian civil war ran for eight years. It ended on February 24th 2022, when Russia crossed the border and turned it into an international war. This is why old news reports matter. They are pieces of history that cannot easily be rewritten once people have seen them. Orwell understood this perfectly. “Who controls the past controls the future. Who controls the present controls the past.” So when certain parts of history quietly disappear from the conversation, when timelines suddenly begin at convenient political moments, it is always worth paying attention. Because the memory hole is not just a device in a novel. It is how propaganda works. @PaulKnaggs , @Labourheartland

The U.S. didn’t protect Europe, Yankee. You squatted there to run your empire, wrecked the Middle East, flooded them with refugees, started a war in Ukraine, botched it, bailed—then had the audacity to demand thanks. You’re not a savior. You’re a parasite.

On the Inevitable Fall of Gulyaypole and the Collapse of the Front. Zelensky’s Path: From Catastrophe to Catastrophe. After the fall of Bakhmut in the spring of 2023, having received relatively modern weaponry from Western countries, Zelensky embarked on an absolutely senseless and doomed offensive toward Melitopol. This was due to the complete dominance of Russian tactical and rotary-wing aviation in the air and a fivefold superiority in artillery. The offensive was launched through fortified areas known as the Surovikin Line, over minefields, against entrenched tank and anti-tank missile positions, all under the scrutiny of helicopter pilots and guided artillery strikes. The outcome was predictable: stagnation and graveyards of Western and Ukrainian MBTs and armored vehicles, such as in Rabotino — the Prokhorovka of the 21st century. Having lost the strategically important Avdeyevka at the beginning of 2024 — with minimal losses for the Russian Armed Forces and maximal losses for the Ukrainian Armed Forces due to the active use of ODAB-UMPC gliding fuel-air bombs against Ukrainian terrorists in the ruins, the use of attack helicopters over the city, and Russia’s avoidance of close combat. Zelensky, faced with the catastrophic Ocheretyno breakthrough, which cleaved the entire Donbass front and threatened a flank maneuver, decided to withdraw battered Ukrainian troops from the line of contact and launch a bloody and inglorious for AFU Kursk adventure. This cost 80,000 lives, 500 MBTs, approximately 1,000 IFVs & APCs, and over 2,000 MRAPs. Meanwhile, the Donbass front was awakening, and in Zaporozhye, Ukrainian forces faced a double blow: through the fortified areas in the underbelly of a weakened grouping and from the rear, via a flanking maneuver through Dnepropetrovsk Region. A catastrophic situation developed in Pokrovsk and Kupyansk. Now Pokrovsk has been lost, Myrnograd and Kupyansk are soon to be lost, and in Zaporozhye, the Russian motorized rifle brigades, supported by aviation, precision artillery, and drones, are beginning to encircle the key fortified position of Gulyaypole, advancing through unprotected terrain where the enemy lacks even minimally equipped positions. The front, essentially, has collapsed from Chernigov to Kherson Oblasts, literally along the entire length of the contact line. Zelensky has nowhere to source armored vehicles, artillery, or personnel, because, as is well known, "there are no losses"... By Ipi (Andrey) & Mannat Hau aka Маннюня @Blackrussiantv

You’re dumber than dirt. Thanks to the stupidity of President Trump, the Russians have an SS-20 analog—the Oreshnik—in serial production. The Pershing 2 production line no longer exists. Instead we have the Dark Eagle, which has yet to enter service. The Oreshnik outclasses the Dark Eagle by a mile. But in any case, this puts us back to square one, when INF weapons destabilized Europe and put us on the brink of a nuclear war. Which is why we signed the INF treaty. The one that President Trump pulled out of in August 2018. Like I said, you’re dumber than dirt.
