Can't believe I'm writing this, but I wonder if this winter well need 'warm banks' the equivalent of 'food banks' where people who can't afford heating are invited to spend their days at no cost with heating (eg libraries, public buildings)?

These 15 #smartielids were all from one plastic haul. Some are up to 30 years old!
They demonstrate #shards perfectly. Shards are formed when plastic breaks down into smaller jagged parts in the ocean and eventually become #microplastics shards less than 5mm.
