He was sat in a hotel in Russia ordering people in the UK to riot, so yeah. Find the biggest hole in the ground you can and drop him in it.

I suppose one way of helping with the power shortage caused by Labour's lack of ambition on energy is just to ban people from using technology.

Every girlsong these days is called something like "I get imposter syndrome when versace makes me wear diamonds". "At my loneliest when I'm taking a private jet to Bulgaria with all my friends" "When I do drugs with models, I remember laughing in Walmart and buying cheap perfume"

All variations of "I'm so much better than you, but in a way I'm also just like you and isn't that relatable?"

The future is already here. It's just not evenly distributed.
The US government, citing national security authorities, has issued an export control directive to suspend all access to Fable 5 and Mythos 5 by any foreign national, whether inside or outside the United States, including foreign national Anthropic employees. The net effect of this order is that we must abruptly disable Fable 5 and Mythos 5 for all our customers to ensure compliance. Access to all other Claude models is not affected. We apologize for this disruption to our customers. We believe this is a misunderstanding and are working to restore access as soon as possible. Read our full statement: anthropic.com/news/fable-myt…

Honestly, this just sounds like someone who tried to buy a rocket, but couldn't afford it.
He’s floated Space X. How many consumers are being price gouged buying rockets? I ask again — give me an example of how Musk becoming a trillionaire (only on paper — he doesn’t have a trillion dollars under the bed) affects you.

Plane flies out in 7 hours, and I'm already bored. It's going to be a long day. Free booze in the lounge though?

Feel like I'm the only person who thinks it makes sense to put export restrictions on the most powerful models.

Straczynski has wanted to work on Doctor who for decades. He's a superfan with experience in TV science fiction. No reason he couldn't do this job.
Babylon 5 creator J. Michael Straczynski floats the idea that he should be the showrunner of the next Doctor Who iteration: "A (relatively) quick note to respond to the (much appreciated) scores of (very nice) notes online regarding today's news about Doctor Who. My interest and record is well-established; the only real question I think the BBC would (very fairly) ask is: would British fans be open to an American showrunner, even one who is legally a resident of the UK under a visa that allows me to work for in TV/film in the UK? I think so but I doubt they'd just take my word for it, nor should they. The fan community would have to have their (polite, constructive) say." Would this be a good or bad idea for the BBC?

Interesting that people who think the police acted appropriately make up only 3% of the population. That's certainly my opinion.

"Mistake under pressure" being highest also highlights what a bubble Twitter is. My timeline was full of people screaming that it was Reverse racism gone too far.

Given the tendency for Reform to repeat Russian talking points, this is unlikely to happen.

Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelenskyy has called on Reform UK councils to return to flying the Ukraine flag from council buildings - the public supports flying the 🇺🇦 flag by 42% to 33%, although only 19% of Reform voters are in favour Results link in replies

Considering how heated our Reform council is on the subject of grooming gangs it's weird how they have said very little about the Skircoat Lodge case. Almost as if they only care in very specific circumstances. bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cp9v…
