I have been told it won’t happen, but Yasser Al-Rumayyen was pushing hard for something like this

Chances of a LIV/DPWT strategic partnership? Getting Phil and @wesleybryangolf et al on board would certainly be interesting

Great Question!! Hatton - PGAT/DPWT DeChambeau - PGAT Niemann - PGAT Rahm - No idea, he is the tricky one of the bunch!

No chance on the PGAT. Maybe for the Majors, but I wouldn’t place any money on it!

They could if they didn’t have players on massive signing on fees. That is the main thing that is crippling them.
Can you imagine IF LIV got investment… 👀👀👀 #LIVGolf

It’s a bit of a double edged sword. LIV signed contracts with the players and if LIV don’t have the finances to honour those contracts, then what? I guess it could be a case of “Who Blinks First”
Apr 29
Golfers signed contracts with LIV, not PIF If LIV exists after 2026 in a reduced capacity (smaller purses), can players still be contractually forced to play? Depends entirely on the language of the contracts and what guarantees LIV gave, but the lawyers might not be finished

Players could also have veto’ed Koepka’s return if they wished They would have needed a majority, but he was accepted.
Replying to @secrettourpro
How can they veto him? He was given a path just 3 months ago

The PGAT can’t make the “Pay” to return to the tour. That’s why Brooks Koepka had to make a “Charitable Donation” in part of his return.

They should all have to put $20M into a pot to be distributed to the PGA players who didn’t jump ship.

IMO, John Rahm’s biggest problem in all of this is himself. With players being able to veto his return to the PGAT and himself refusing to pay DPWT fines, he’s screwed as to what to do. But with (allegedly) $700m in the bank from LIV, I doubt it really matters! #SecretTourPro

I would tend to agree with this statement

Rahm is the biggest winner and loser in all of this. He’s made a boatload of money and will be let back in the association, but is one of the poster children for the LIV failure. If I was him I’d spend the year off counting my money.

BREAKING NEWS It is understood that any return to the PGA Tour for John Rahm will be blocked by a number of PGA Tour Players who hold veto rights on such matters. Rahm is expecting the same treatment that Brooks Koepka received earlier this year. #SecretTourPro

I couldn’t understand from Scott O’Neils interview yesterday was this; “We are looking to blend a version of LIV and the national opens, the great national opens around the world” Does he mean he wants LIV to take over hosting National Opens, or something else? #SecretTourPro
