The difference with Brooks and Bryson (and Rahm) compared to everyone else is they still had their cards thanks to their major wins. I think it'll he harder for those others to get their cards back.
Other sports don’t have that problem because their payment to players is an agreed upon % of revenue. The PGA had to exceed that to stave off the oil money of LIV. You said that was a good thing, it wasn’t. That’s the only point being made here.
Can agree that players have made more money…at least temporarily…but disagree that that or the other changes you allude to are good things. The only good change was the 500K min for those with full cards
The number of people on here claiming players making more money in an unsustainable model is a good thing for professional golf and some kind of vindication for LIV is mind blowing 🤯
Let Bryson come back, the rest can go through Q school. Bryson is one of the most dynamic players and personalities in the world right now. PGA needs him more than he needs them. He’s already got FU money.
They had great ratings last year dumbass. Notice how your little blurb says “early 2025”. CBS had their best golf ratings since 2018 when Tiger was competing.
Scottie playing like shit, Brooks not his former self, JT in no man's land. Hovland, Aberg were supposed to be the next best things. Rory is solid. I would say yes, they need Rahm and Bryson back.
If @PGATOUR had morals, it'd enforce at least a 1 year ban and then all players have to build up world rankings from scratch, through qualifying structures.
