The ceremony, attended by representatives from @stirlingcastle and the wider MOD, saw us formally welcomed into RFA Service ⚓️

Guildhall Yard is one of the few public spaces in the City where the @citylordmayor’s coach can be tethered to a train of 6 horses and turn a full circle.

If you go to the @cityoflondon Guildhall in the next few days, you can see the Lord Mayor's state coach.
It's on display daily until Monday 13th Nov, except Sat 11th, when it's needed for the Lord Mayor's Show.
You can go into the side corridor for a close look.

#CityFact The Swordbearer is one the the three Esquires of the Mansion House, his hat is known as the Muscovy Hat and features a pocket for the key to the safe which holds the City seal; keep that under your hat!

Honoured to be taking part in the City of London election of the new Lord Mayor.
The election happens at Michaelmas, on 29 September 2023.
The Lord Mayor must have served as a Sheriff of the City, and since 1435 he/she has been chosen from among the City’s Aldermen.

We are so proud of Violet, in Year 12, who participated in the @PaintersCompany prize-giving. Violet’s impressive drawing was chosen to be the first artwork on display as you entered the exhibition and was highly praised by members of the Company as well as other prize-winners.
