.@SecRollins is exactly right. The Trump admin is championing American cotton farmers and has laid out a bold strategy that supports our growers. This further underscores the need for Congress to pass the Buying American Cotton Act, which would give retailers a meaningful incentive to choose U.S.-grown cotton. That means better, more affordable, American-grown products for consumers at home and greater demand for American cotton around the world.

Today we mark two proud American traditions – Flag Day, and the @USArmy's 251st Birthday. The same flag that flew when the Army was founded still waves today, and that is a testament to the generations of soldiers who have kept it flying. We are grateful to every soldier who has worn the uniform and those wearing it now.

I’m glad that the Senate passed bipartisan legislation I cosponsored to crack down on contraband cellphones in federal penalties – upgrading the penalty from a misdemeanor to a felony. Inmates use these phones to run drug operations, order hits, and traffic people. It’s past time the federal law reflects the seriousness of these threats, and I urge the House to pass it and get it to President Trump’s desk.

Mississippians have shared their stories with me about the stress caused by rising insulin prices. When patients are forced to ration dosages, it often leads to hospitalizations and serious complications that are dangerous, strain family budgets, and cost taxpayers. I’m proud to cosponsor the bipartisan INSULIN Act to cap out-of-pocket insulin costs at $35 a month and make this lifesaving medicine more accessible for every Mississippian and American who needs it.
