I’m working with my CA colleagues to address the Silicon Valley Bank crisis. We must make sure all deposits exceeding the FDIC $250k limit are honored. Banking is about confidence. If depositors lose confidence on the safety of their deposits over 250k then we are in trouble.

We toured an Amazon Fulfillment center yesterday and… 🤯 Incredible. • Inventory is stored on constantly moving shelves. Robots take the shelf to the pick station. • Inventory is randomly placed on shelves, tracked by cameras (go store technology). • They spread inventory for the same SKU out across bins so it’s always closer to a pick station. • Inventory counts are automated with cameras. The computing that goes into the operation is unbelievable. What a huge competitive advantage.

So are we going to see 5 ChatGPT ads during the Super Bowl next week? They’d at least be more than a QR code (I scanned it 😅)

I love tech don’t get me wrong. But was refreshingly surprised when I didn’t see a generative ai company here (which are cool too).
