We’re partnering with @FCDOGovUK @IDRC_CRDI & @gatesfoundation to strengthen AI ecosystems in Africa. As part of this effort, we’re also working with @mozilla to expand the Responsible Computing Challenge to Ghana & South Africa @GlobalIndexRAI to support inclusive AI.
To promote the responsible use of AI, USAID is: Strengthening AI ecosystems by supporting innovators across Africa to develop new tools and services in partnership with the UK Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office, Canada’s International Development Research Centre, and the Gates Foundation. Expanding the Mozilla Responsible Computing Challenge to Ghana & South Africa and establishing a Responsible Computing Institute to train the next generation of technologists on AI. Supporting the Global Index on Responsible AI to support data-driven, ground-up assessments of how over 140 countries are adopting responsible AI.
