11. Hydration Staying hydrated is incredibly important for the #ADHD brain but remembering to drink/refill can be challenging. Every morning, I fill up multiple water bottles with 64oz water so I can see how much water I still need to drink for the day. #ADHDAwarenessMonth

Many people with ADHD also process certain types of information differently than neurotypicals. When information processing is significantly slower or different in an area, folks can be diagnosed with a co-occuring processing disorder, such as Auditory Processing Disorder (APD)

This is because we're both mentally prepared for the meetings and are approaching problems as a team where we work together to find a solution. We also examine the "Why?" behind the problem. Previously, problems were presented as something the other needed to fix. 5/6

These meetings have helped us navigate how to fairly divide the mental load of running a household. The load evolves over time and having monthly meetings helps us keep tabs on how the load is changing and if we need to make adjustments. 6/6
