I think the perception is that AI will: - Write all your copy - Sound exactly like you - Automate every workflow - Take over your entire job - Feed your children - Build a website a day - Solve world hunger - Crack growth/distribution - Set up infinite money glitches - Nail your strategy - yada yada It's gonna do like 30% of some of those things well. Clear thinking is still at a premium. Maybe more than ever. Your strategy can NOT come from Claude - I'm begging you, don't let AI think for you. If you do... Your strategy, positioning, messaging, etc will end up either: A) Sounding like all of your competitors B) Be so wildly out of left field it won't resonate I say this as someone who spends like 6 hours a day using AI tools. The thinking has to be clear going in.

I’ve been thinking a lot about the extraordinary outbursts of the President of the United States against female journalists... well, actually against journalists in general and journalism. But it feels like he saves his most childlike behavior and irrational language for female reporters, calling them all kinds of names that kids in kindergarten are given times out for. It’s stunning to me to witness such behavior from any leader, any CEO, any person of influence or importance. I’ve never witnessed someone like this raging, this weekend with @meetthepress host @kwelkernbc, just last week in the Oval Office with @cnn’s @kaitlancollins, calling women stupid or piggy, telling them to “smile”, calling them darling, demeaning their credibility. Every good man should denounce this behavior. Every person should be able to stand up for their colleagues and say “No more.” Imagine this man screaming like this at your daughter, your wife, your sister, your mother... would you stand for it? No, you wouldn’t! And neither should any of us. It’s unacceptable and undignified. Period. End of story.

Leaders work for their employees, not the other way around.

Every time I have to listen to the confident, loud chatter of a stupid man, I feel a physical, sickening sickness in my veins. Fools speak with absolute certainty about things they cannot understand, turning the sacred gift of speech into a public vomiting of their inner emptiness. To be trapped in a world run by their rules is a complete nightmare, a slow execution of the mind by an army of smiling idiots.
