This is ShowerBox, made in late Summer, 2018. An article for @huffpostuk requested by @charlielindlar prompted my exploration into bringing free public showers to London, to enhance the lives of those who sleep rough. I'm @sarahlamptey, a volunteer for homeless orgs in London.

Wesleyan Foundation donated £9,000 to @showerboxldn, providing essential showers, clothes, and support for those experiencing homelessness in Birmingham. Since March, over 1,200 have used their services, many saying they "feel human again." #HomelessnessAwareness

Here's our new shower van which we have bought and converted thanks to all your donations and grants! We are so grateful. We begin our drop-in Birmingham showers from St Philip's Cathedral this Tuesday 9th April, from 9am - 2pm. Towels and some essentials provided! @BigIssue

A PLEA TO COUNCILS TO INITIATE SWEP (severe weather emergency protocol) swep is usually implemented if there are 3 consecutive nights of severe weather. With the forecast this week, we need councils to initiate this NOW . #homelessness @our_MoH @CityWestminster @CamdenCouncil
