Escrow & Closing is to Opendoor what AWS was to Amazon. The infra we use to run our business. It is great. We want it to power what others are building. Today, Opendoor acquired Doma’s escrow services to make home closing faster, cheaper and more certain. For everyone. cnbc.com/2026/03/31/opendoor…

Huge congrats to @andys_lee, @srinth32, and the @deeptraceai team. We’ve been using them at @Opendoor since the early days, and it has had a big impact on our on-call and triage/diagnosis culture. Moving from firefighting to automated investigation is the only way to scale modern prod environments.
Excited to share that @deeptraceai has raised $5M to identify and fix every alert in production. This round is co-led by @felicis and @matrix, with participation from @ycombinator. As AI generates more of the world’s code, the real leverage shifts to systems that help engineers understand and run it in production. Deeptrace is that reliability layer. Today, teams like @opendoor, @mintlify, and @phantom use Deeptrace to automatically investigate every alert in production and proactively catch issues before they turn into incidents. If you’re looking to automate on-call and use agents to monitor prod, please reach out!

my bleeding-edge setup (termius tailwind tmux) setup from just 2 weeks ago is already obsolete and I couldn't be happier about it. Incredible pace by the @claudeai team!

New in Claude Code: Remote Control. Kick off a task in your terminal and pick it up from your phone while you take a walk or join a meeting. Claude keeps running on your machine, and you can control the session from the Claude app or claude.ai/code

Watched 3 exceptional presentations today in @Opendoor’s Finance all-hands where ā€˜non- technical’ people automated their workflows using @claudeai and @gumloop. Love seeing it. Everyone is a builder now.

With everything feeling so harsh lately, I’ve been searching for a bit of peace. I hope this brings you the same moment of peace it brought me. Here’s to more collective grace and shared humanity. ā¤ļø

It’s the intersection of a few things: proving our AI chops by shipping polish work at speed, experimenting with fresh (and fun) low-CAC lead gen, and, honestly, just a bit of Friday magic. Sometimes the best way to test the limits of your tech is to play with it. Huge props to @morganb for the spark and actually getting it out into the wild.

A small house in Princeton where the secrets of time and space were decoded. Decided to give it the "Lego" treatment. Can anyone name the resident? ✨

One of my favorite things about working with our team at @Opendoor is how deep in the craft we are from top down- no task is ā€˜beneath’ anyone or ā€˜not their job’. @yang_guo values homes. @morganb is spinning up new campaigns. The engineering leaders do on-call(and still build)etc

iOS in general is degrading release by release. photos is a disaster. liquid glass is meh. apps like podcast that functioned perfectly well are getting bloated and prev. muscle memory taps just don't work anymore. It really makes me wonder if Apple is suffering from teams with scopes defined too narrowly, falling into the trap of Parkinson's Law where they reinvent UI just to fill the time.
We are a year and a half into iOS18 and I STILL do not have muscle memory to find my albums and starred photos in the photos app. Complete disaster

Homeownership should be a joy, not a paperwork marathon. We’re building an AI-powered mortgage product that finally puts the customer first. šŸ”šŸ¤–
We're building a mortgage product at @Opendoor, fully AI-native from Day 1. Homeownership should be easier, especially when it comes to mortgage. We're working together with our partners at @Lennar to make that future a reality - on Opendoor.com and off it. More soon

Great minds! We actually just went live with a big test that does exactly this. šŸŽÆ It’s about transparency: showing the math for Cash vs. Cash Plus in one view so sellers can choose the path that fits their goals. All of this is enabled by our powerful & recently more flexible OVM, our AI-driven nationwide pricing engine. Sellers can now easily pick the option and cost structure that works for them. Our "Cash Now, More Later" path is a total no-brainer for convenience. We want sellers to see the math and move with 100% confidence. šŸ” $OPEN See if you can spot the new design (they show up after assessment) in the wild. We're always eager for feedback.

@Opendoor could have sliding scale of speed vs price, sellers can decide. For demo only. @Opendoor 2.0 the new way to buy or sell homes $OPEN @nejatian @morganb

Proud of the engineering rigor behind this expansion. Beyond the coverage, the team achieved a 90% reduction in model sensitivity issues and a 50% improvement in pipeline runtime. It’s rare to see a launch that increases scale while simultaneously driving down costs and latency. Incredible work by the OVM team.

As of today, Opendoor's fastest growing product (Cash ) is available in 21,480 additional zip codes in the US. We think we can launch it in another 5,600 zip codes before the end of the year and to significantly improve our UX before the end of the year also. So close.
