Pot meet kettle. And the deeper it goes the worse it gets as @RiannaPaul chimes in! It's like a dumpster fire inside a landfill fire!
You are clueless! Rhode Island government does not have a revenue problem! You spent a whopping $!14 billion in the past 2 years. RI has a spending problem. If you want good paying jobs, leave money in the wallets of consumers and small businesses.

I love the Thin Blue Line sticker on the car driving illegally on an invalid license plate.

"Worst case ruling for Rhode Island business and economy and thus residents. The state would be wise to now scrap this whole thing altogether." @BrianCNewberry Now that it's certainly legal, the state should stop? Nobody should take this guy's twitter persona seriously.

This city elects a number of unserious people.
Providence councilman fully supports the school funding settlement, but doesn't want to pay for it. us4.campaign-archive.com/?u=…

Wouldn't more State funding just require more City funding? Didn't we just lose a court case about that?

If he’s a five or six term incumbent in 2030, that’s certainly a lot of political experience. I think it’s fair to question the management experience, although I assume you’d find a reason to downplay any Democrat no matter what experience they have.

Looking forward to that kid from the Sec O' State's office frequently & repeatedly embarrassing @repmorgan so more.
Former GOP U.S. Senate candidate and outgoing state Rep. @repmorgan’s next venture.

When your part-time job is in a glass house, maybe hold on to those stones.

Maybe Dan McKee should try bringing on a RIDOT Director who’s competent. Radical idea, I know.

Rhode Island's GA needs more invocations like this; home of religious freedom & all.
An unnamed Tulsa City Council Member invited a “priestess of the goddess” to say what some are calling a ‘satanic prayer’ at the Nov. 20th Tulsa City Council meeting.

I don't know what's worse, the fact she's now espousing parody white supremacist talking points or that nearly everyone in the comments is stupid.
Happening in Rhode Island, too. Democrats politicians are now spending $350 million and adding $100 million every year to build affordable housing. Towns have lost control of zoning and land use decisions.

Gonna guess if you think bonds are passed annually that you can't use google either...
Replying to @repmorgan
All the Bond money that gets approved every year here in RI, but we never heard how it is being spent

Over it? Shit, we're glad they walked away! Even though the law made the team responsible for cost overruns, limited the public revenues exposure, & wasn't state debt... the best outcome was the team walking away. Probably why the league wouldn't have let him take it anyway.

I believe the shorthand for this is, "expensive urine."

Interesting. Is it not possible to ingest these nutrients via a well balanced diet? Serious question.

Providence could have been on the hook for $55 million, so $15 million will not be catastrophic like what Mayor Smiley was warning about a week ago But the city has to increase aid to the schools again next year, which is where the tax hike comes in bostonglobe.com/2024/11/22/m…

#OTD November 23, 1793, the brig Susannah, financed by Philip & Zachariah Allen, & captained by John Jenckes, left Providence for Sierra Leone, then Jenckes purchased 114 enslaved Africans. Zachariah's sons, Zachariah Jr. & Philip (pictured), both became prominent RI politicians.
