With each act of depravity, the state exposes itself even more. Now they have arrested @SammiBaluch, @LalaWahab310954 along with other peaceful protesters in Karachi. Please raise your voice & demand their immediate release.

BYC Central Leader Sammi Deen and Deputy Organizer Lala Wahab Arrested as Police Crack Down on Protest in Karachi Police Seal Karachi Press Club, Arrest Dozens of Women at BYC Protest Today, the Baloch Yakjehti Committee (BYC) had scheduled a protest in Karachi against state brutality and enforced disappearances. In response, police sealed the Karachi Press Club to prevent the demonstration from taking place. Despite this, protesters, including a large number of women, gathered to voice their demands. As the protest began, police launched a crackdown, arresting dozens of women, including BYC Central Committee leader Sammi Deen and Deputy Organizer Lala Wahab. This blatant act of repression highlights the state’s continued efforts to silence the oppressed. #StopBalochGenocide

State repression against the women-led struggle for Baloch rights continues to intensify. Section 144 imposed in Karachi and @wdf and @BalochYakjehtiC comrades arrested following the earlier crackdown on protests in Quetta and arrest of @MahrangBaloch
Many protestors, including WDF representatives, have been arrested at @BalochYakjehtiC's protest in Karachi just a while ago. The state fears dissent, but repression will not silence anyone. We demand their immediate release @PPP_Org! #FreeKarachiProtestors

We denounce the state’s ban on the PTM as a blatant act of repression undermining the collective struggle of Pashtuns for peace, justice, and liberation. The path to peace starts with accountability. Our statement:

Our next featured article by @sidrakn explores the capitalist underpinnings of patriarchy.

Not only Balochistan but all oppressed communities in Pakistan have got a young visionary leader: uncompromising & unbreakable! She speaks of the injustices faced by Pashtuns and raises her voice for protesters in Gilgit Baltistan. She feels the plight of the oppressed.
