The death has been announced of Deputy Foreign Editor at The Irish Times, David McKechnie. David was a former Fund recipient who reported on peacebuilding in Colombia. He was a guest speaker at journalist briefings and endorsed many applicants to the Fund. irishtimes.com/news/ireland/…

It is with great sadness that we read of this news. Rodney provided great public service as a broadcaster in the development sphere; and he has been a longstanding, valuable judge and ambassador to the @Irish_Aid supported @SimonCumbersMF - thoughts are with his family. RIP.
