Finally got around to seeing Backrooms at the cinema today. Was worried with all the hype it would disappoint.
Absolutely loved it. Felt like an extended nightmare, made even better by how ominously random yet familiar it all felt. Swear I'd seen bits of that set before 😂

I've seen dozens of "Scorsese is getting into AI!" posts but not ONE mentioned what's disclosed at the very bottom of the NYT story on it:
That Scorsese's biz partner has a financial stake in the specific AI company & thus will likely get a huge payout if it's acquired/IPOs.

Finally got around to watching Scream 7. Honestly really enjoyed it, and quite surprised by the reviews I've read.
Not as good as the original trilogy, but my favourite film since 3, and Neve Campbell was amazing as ever.
