If Scotland had left the union prior to 2019, the Johnson majority would have risen from 80 to 110

In 2005, labour lead is slashed from 66 to ~40

Exactly this... Scottish votes have never altered the result of a UK General Election since the 1950s. Not once since then have they mattered because of the number of voters South of the border. Even during the Tory/LibDems coalition, Scottish votes still wouldn't have swung it.

Welsh assembly referendum was an even smaller margin and that was enacted. 52-48 for remain and we would have remained.

I spoke to the author of the (disputed) study Trump was referring to. *He* says Trump was wrong in two big ways: 1) The study didnβt find Google βmanipulatedβ votes or even search results; 2) its max figure for votes potentially affected by bias was 10.4M, not 16M.
