Stora Rådmansgatan in Simrishamn, Sweden. Possibly one of the most charming streets in Scandinavia. Originally medieval, most of the current buildings are late 18th or early 19th century, in timber frame with brick infill or just brick.

This is only partly true. The US has not (yet) tried to invade & occupy Iran. We're seeing the limits of air power alone. Russia's army was incompetent, degraded by corruption & telegraphed every move at the beginning.
