The only time in history a helicopter shot down a fixed-wing aircraft… with an AK-47.
January 12, 1968. High above the misty mountains of Laos, near the top-secret Lima Site 85 radar outpost.
Air America Bell 205 XW-PFH, unarmed, on a routine ammo resupply run, suddenly finds itself in the middle of a surprise attack by four North Vietnamese An-2 “Colt” biplanes. These Soviet-built bombers had been modified with rocket pods and mortar tubes cut into their floors.
Pilot Capt. Ted Moore didn’t hesitate. He threw the Huey into pursuit. With incredible skill, he positioned XW-PFH directly above one of the retreating biplanes. The massive rotor downwash stalled the Colt’s upper wing, forcing it to slow and lose control.
Flight mechanic Glenn Woods leaned out the open door… and opened fire with his personal AK-47 straight into the cockpit.
The biplane spun wildly and slammed into a ridge.
The only confirmed helicopter-to-fixed-wing kill in aviation history. A true David-vs-Goliath moment from the CIA’s shadowy Secret War in Laos.
Keith Woodcock’s painting “An Air Combat First” captures this legendary dogfight perfectly, the same Huey, the same moment, the same impossible victory.
Hats off to Ted Moore, Glenn Woods, and every Air America crew who flew into the unknown.

これ、昔の兵士なんかは特にそうなんだけど、徒歩で長時間の行軍をする為にエネルギーを蓄える必要があって、ギリシャの彫刻なんかの筋骨逞しい人も大体はお腹が出てる。つまり良い兵士の証。現代でも徒歩だけで痩せようとすると手足は細くなってもお腹だけは減りにくいとか x.com/i/status/2061395069874…

VOICEPEAKは出力音声の先頭と最後に必ず無音部分が発生してしまうのだが、aviutl2であればSound eXchange(SoX)インストールしてPSDToolKit2で使う[監視くん]のsetting.txtを変更することで可能だったことを確認した

「ファイルを投げ込む前に音声処理をしたい」という用途では、かんしくんの modifier で execute を使うことで処理できるようになっています。

Japan urgently deploys troops toward Russia!
The most dangerous confrontation since 1989 is beginning. Will it escalate into full-scale combat?
Tokyo is seriously concerned that Russia could open a second front in the Far East and is rapidly moving forces toward the Russian border on the island of Hokkaido. And not without reason.
Moscow has deployed Su-35 fighter jets and anti-ship missiles on the disputed Kuril Islands. In spring, Russians also showcased “Kinzhal” missiles on aircraft near Japanese waters.
Meanwhile, Borei-class nuclear submarines, each carrying up to 160 nuclear warheads, are increasingly operating in the Sea of Okhotsk.
Over the past nine months alone, Japan scrambled fighter jets 448 times to intercept aircraft — almost twice a day.
A country that is constitutionally barred from possessing offensive weapons is now developing counterstrike missiles and doubling its defense budget.
This is the most tense confrontation between Japan and Russia since the end of the Cold War. And it is happening right now, while the world is focused on Ukraine and Iran.
