Mastodon is a bit more complicated than Twitter, because it’s federated: Twitter is only available at x.com, but Mastodon is available at hundreds of different websites. If you want to try it but you’re confused, contact me — I’m happy to help explain it!

PayPal apparently has a hidden feature to automatically transfer your balance to your bank account every day. If you don’t trust PayPal, you should enable this feature — and no one should trust PayPal. mymoneyblog.com/how-to-enabl… /cc @freakboy3742 @pydanny

I *love* getting feedback like this. If you like something that someone has done, tell them! It takes so little effort, but it means so much. 😁 x.com/Roger_Terrill/status/1…

Folks... we have come full circle. This is Charlie, dog of Brant. He naps in a pineapple and really likes french fries. 14/10 you’ve got a good dog, Brent

Took a lovely boat tour through Amsterdam with @singingwolfboy and Heidi. Highly recommend, especially the small less commercial ones. #HollyInAMS

Short explanation of this phenomenon: Electric field lines like to stay in water, which has high dielectric constant. Breaking the water bridge would force them to go through air, which is much more energetically costly. x.com/Rainmaker1973/status/9…

Replying to @singingwolfboy
@singingwolfboy good intro to AWS and S3. @treehouse could use a few more courses to build on that as well as more CI/CD. Thanks.

Ooh, @withspectrum looks interesting! Not sure what I want to use it for, but definitely want to keep it in mind for open source projects and digital communities…

I saw this on an OS map and couldn't not investigate. A place of worship symbol in the middle of bloody nowhere on the edge of a wood. It was a foggy, atmospheric day up on the North Downs, so I decided to walk three sides of a square through the wood to reach it.
