We are excited to share that gean has successfully completed devnet-1 and achieved multi-client interoperability.
During devnet-1, gean has been:
- Proposing blocks
- Attesting correctly
- Broadcasting across peers
- Syncing and operating alongside other clients

Why I’m building this:
Base needs serious dev tools, not just demos.
Auditors, builders, and power users need visibility even when source isn’t verified.
ForgeBase aims to be that layer.

Instead of pretending unverified contracts are “verified”, ForgeBase introduces modes:

🔹 Experimental Bytecode Mode
Honest UX. No fake guarantees. Power-user paths.

The hard part I’m tackling now:
❌ Many contracts on Base are NOT verified
❌ No ABI = no function names, no types
❌ Most tools just… break
This is a real dev UX problem.
