Oliver called me this morning to discuss the events of the past two days. During our call, he acknowledged his wrongdoing and sincerely apologised for:
1) Remaining silent for many months despite his outstanding debt.
The reality is that I was the one often reaching out and sending reminders about the payment. The last time I did so was in November 2024, when he asked for a little more time to put together the remaining 150k. Since then, he changed his number and did not contact me again until after my post.
2) Making assumptions about the value of the money to me.
Regardless of how much he believes I earn, it is not his place to decide whether 150k or even 75k is significant to me. If you owe someone money, your responsibility is either to repay the debt or respectfully ask for forgiveness.
Also, his statement about “doubling 75k” is slightly misleading. I loaned him money in a currency that depreciated significantly while I was trying to recover it. In good faith, he offered to repay an additional 8.5% to account for the devaluation.
That said, a number of people have speculated about why I chose to go public. It has nothing to do with his recent philanthropic pursuits, but rather with creating awareness about what has happened behind the scenes.
For the few people here who know me personally, sharing that publicly was completely out of character for me, and came as a shock to many of them.
There is no shame in going bankrupt. However, it is important to disclose bankruptcy so others can make informed decisions and exercise caution.
Following his sincere apology and renewed promise to repay the debt (although it remains unclear whether he will pay 150k or 75k), I have decided to take down my original post.

A smart person understands that sexual attraction is, has always and will always be a spectrum and not black/white.
I would have said the inexplicable curiousity is a mystery but the majority are battling internalized homophobia unfortunately 🥴

Lonie shared similar sentiments with me a while ago. He was supposed to be a groom's man for a friend but he later turned it down. He said he couldn't spend time, effort and money for someone who had plans of cheating the night before his wedding.

This man asked his gf to come cook for his “grandma’s funeral”. She rallied her friends and they came and cooked. The “funeral” was in Nso. She asked for the fabric so she and her friends could sew and accompany him. He told her not to worry about following because Nso wasn’t safe.
Brethren, the cooking this girl did was for her boyfriend to go and do “knock door” (introduction) for another lady.
How she found out? This man’s junior sister came back from boarding school, saw pictures of the event with a whole different lady. When she eventually met the lady who did all the cooking, she asked, “Aunty Solange, so my brother did not marry but you?”
I have 2 more of such stories. Some men are really wicked. Why can’t you just break up?
