😅 The morning after the night before… 💪 But no rest for this top team and brilliant to be joined by the inimitable @RuthDavidsonPC on the doors today! ⏳ In just four days time, Douglas Lumsden can win this for Aberdeen!

Fantastic to be joined by @RuthDavidsonPC on the campaign trail in Aberdeen South today. We have a real chance to beat the SNP here. But we can only do it if pro-UK, pro-oil & gas voters unite behind the Scottish Conservatives this Thursday.

And yet give them the vote? How does that work?

Shoes in a display case for auction = weird. But then, so was the 'Nicola' in her red dress welcoming the children of the world to Bute House Christmas card, &, of course, the notorious 'Thank you, Nicola' covid-era video on STV news. Did everyone just get used to the weirdness?

Did no-one in the SNP faithful just find the whole Peter bidding thousands to buy back Nicola's worn high heels *in a display case* deeply ... weird?

Mr Swinney doesn't pay much attention to 'metropolitan commentators'. Yeah, famously laid back about what 'metropolitan commentators' have to say is Mr Swinney.
'Truthfully, did you make a mistake and think the game was Sunday going into Monday?' John Swinney talks to The Herald about the decision to make Monday a bank holiday 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 𝘐𝘯 𝘱𝘢𝘳𝘵𝘯𝘦𝘳𝘴𝘩𝘪𝘱 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 @SPARScotland @DonaldAErskine 𝘝𝘐𝘋𝘌𝘖: 𝘕𝘦𝘸𝘴𝘲𝘶𝘦𝘴𝘵

'Showing off' - nail on head, I think.
“Sturgeon donated £290 stilettos to SNP fundraiser...then watched as Murrell bought them for £4,000” The SNP think they can shut this whole Murrell scandal down, but it’ll run and run until everyone with stories like this have aired them archive.ph/N5w3u

That BBC Scotland News curates this collection of 'stars' for come on Scotland content says a hell of a lot about BBC Scotland.
Sam Heughan, Brian Cox and Alan Cumming are among the stars backing Scotland ahead of their World Cup match against Haiti. The nation has sent its support as the team prepares for the early-hours clash. Get the latest on Scotland at the World Cup - bbc.in/442fObY

Is she still passionate about shoes? Surely it wasn't a made up affectation.

Scotland in the Union have recognised that Aberdeen South is a two-horse race between the Scottish Conservatives and the SNP. Pro-UK voters should unite behind Douglas Lumsden on 18 June to beat the SNP.

The SNP has given up announcing anything in the actual, you know, Scottish Parliament, it seems. Every announcement to be timed instead for maximum PR and photo opps.
Tonight, Scotland returns to the World Cup for the first time in 28 years. To harness that excitement and inspire the next generation of talent, we are announcing a £500,000 World Cup Fund to support youth football, and supporting the work of @streetsoccerSCO.

I hope this message gets through.
Ruth Davidson is right. Aberdeen South is on a knife-edge. Only Douglas Lumsden can beat the SNP. A vote for any other party risks handing the seat straight back to the Nationalists. If pro-UK voters unite behind Douglas, we can win. If the vote is split, the SNP wins. Every vote matters. Every vote counts. scotsman.com/news/politics/f…

She wasn't there as Deputy First Minister, surely, because promoting a by-election candidate is clearly party political rather than governmental business. And the SNP wouldn't want to elide such boundaries.
Was great to have the Deputy First Minister @JennyGilruthMSP in Torry today to talk to voters. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 We also had a few other teams out across Aberdeen South 🏃🏃‍♀️ On June 18th, vote SNP 🟡✅ (1/2🧵)

Delighted to be in the USA watching Scotland play Haiti tonight, honouring a promise I made to my youngest many years ago that if Scotland qualified we'd go together to see them play... and hopefully win.

Didn’t see that coming. Lorna Slater argues that we need to increase defence spending.

They are relying on this to draw a line under the Murrell matter, I reckon. Not going to work, though.
Take a look at some highlights from First Minister @JohnSwinney meeting Scotland fans, businesses, and communities in the US.
