Last night, in partnership with Intel Corporation, we officially launched the Edge AI Tech Challenge.
Founders, investors, researchers, and industry leaders came together to explore how edge AI is moving from concept to real-world deployment and what it takes to build intelligence directly on devices.
We opened with remarks from Inbar Wolanski, who spoke about strengthening Israel’s tech ecosystem through frictionless access to innovation. Sarah Kemp (Intel) highlighted the strategic importance of Edge AI across industries, followed by Tomer Sasson (Intel), who presented the challenge and its real-world use cases.
A highlight of the evening was the fireside chat, “Cloud vs. Edge — Where is AI Headed?”, with Yuval Vered (Intel) and Avner Vilan (AI21 Labs), exploring why intelligence at the edge is becoming mission-critical.
The night wrapped up with networking and 1:1 meetings with Intel and Startup Nation Central challenge specialists, giving founders direct access to the experts behind the program.
