Tone deaf, defensive, arrogant and unwilling to thoughtfully consider any criticisms levied against him from Clubs, Agents and Players. Parros thinks he and his slick group of video producers are doing a great job for the game! A train wreck of comments. I rest my case.

NHL DoPS head George Parros responding to Connor McDavid's call for an examination of the suspension process: โWe sweat over these decisions and pour over these decisions every night, all season long. We have a process in place thatโs consistent, and we have a team that works for me, and together with me, that evaluates all these plays. A very experienced team, a veteran team. Guys that have been there since the beginning of the department. Not to mention all the former players that have a large set of experiences playing NHL games, accolades. Some of the best guys that have played the game work for this department help make decisions. So, our process, I feel very confident in. I know 97 & 29 would lose their minds over thisโฆ. Even Daryl Katz would not stand for it but I was saying to a friend last nightโฆ..
In the perfect world if I was Stan Bowman, Iโd keep the powder dry and make no moves at the deadline. This team is so far away from contending that an even acquiring a defencemen at the deadline is not going to help them.
You run this lineup to the playoffs (hope you make it) and live with the result.
Then in the off season, the handcuffs of the NMC are gone, over $20 million in cap space AND then you force Nurse to be moved. Thatโs when you retool the team. A long summer could be a benefit health wise to this team as well.
But you know that will never happen but that is what actually needs to happenโฆ.. IMO
