Occupation officials closed the Dzhankoi crossing, then reopened the one-way passage across a pontoon bridge for cars only. Russia's front line forces operate entirely on generators. As Ukraine cuts off all fuel supplies to the occupied territories, all of Russia's electronics on the front will die. Russian forces are being blinded and disarmed.

The irony is hard to miss. Russia invaded Ukraine with neo-Nazi paramilitary formations and private military companies, all while claiming to be “de-Nazifying” the country. It is Russia that established Nazi-style filtration camps in occupied territories, forcibly deported thousands of Ukrainian children, and placed many of them into so-called “re-education” programmes designed to erase their Ukrainian identity. The gap between the Kremlin’s rhetoric and its actions could hardly be more stark.

In his first interview with a British newspaper, the head of the Luftwaffe (German Air Force) noted that in the event of an attack on the Western Alliance, its forces will carry out devastating air strikes on Russia. In another warning directed at Moscow, he emphasized that in NATO “there are no different security zones — this means that an attack on Estonia will trigger exactly the same response as an air strike on London.” Lieutenant General Neumann added that if NATO is forced to defend itself, the Kola Peninsula in northwestern Russia, Kaliningrad, and the Black Sea will feel the full wrath of the Alliance — “Germany is ready to fight against Russia already today and will defend every centimeter of NATO territory,” — states the Luftwaffe commander. 
This is a strong and unambiguous deterrent statement from one of NATO’s key military leaders. It clearly signals that any aggression against a member state will be met with overwhelming force across multiple strategic Russian regions. The emphasis on unified response and the absence of “different security zones” reinforces Article 5 and aims to dissuade Russia from testing NATO’s resolve, particularly in the Baltic region.

The Dovzhenko film studio in Kyiv is one of the oldest centers of world cinema. Established in 1927, it’s where Dziga Vertov, Sergey Paradzhanov and obviously Oleksandr Dovzhenko shot some of their masterpieces. It survived WWII because its collection was evacuated to Central Asia before the Nazi takeover. This morning, it was hit by Russian missiles. The entire collection of 100,000 costumes going back nearly a century burned down. Other priceless artifacts gone, too. Barbarians sacking Europe’s cultural heritage.

⚡️ Russian artist Semyon Skrepetsky was killed in Poland: he had previously harshly mocked Putin and Kadyrov The murder took place in the city of Biała Podlaska, near the border with Belarus, where a refugee camp is located. After moving from Russia, Skrepetsky passed through this center and remained living in the city with his family. Several people may have been involved in the attack. The taxi driver who drove them was detained near the Belarusian consulate in the city. Earlier, Skrepetsky took part in an action at the Russian embassy in Berlin. The artist came wearing bast shoes, with a Russian flag tied to his trousers, and carrying a painting depicting Stalin “feeding” Putin. He also created satirical paintings in which he mocked Kadyrov, Putin, and Russian officials.
