The pandemic added a raft of anxieties. The streaming boom put more pressure on film workers.
As a result, more producers are considering offering therapy services, both on set and virtually, to help film workers cope with on-the-job stress.

BABY REINDEER absolutely shattered me. What starts off as a dark cringe comedy unfolds into an even darker, intricately layered look at abuse, mental illness, trauma & shame in ways I never could’ve imagined. Richard Gaad delivers the bravest & most profound performance I’ve seen this year and Jessica Gunning masterfully balances terrifying unpredictably with raw empathy at every turn. So unflinchingly naked & perceptive. This limited Netflix series will undoubtedly be upsetting for some but will remain, for me, one of the very best of 2024.
