For all those asking why Russia would bomb sacred Orthodox sites in Kyiv, let me remind you that the Soviet secret police, the NKVD, and the Red Army deliberately blew up central Kyiv in 1941, including parts of the Kyiv Pechersk Lavra, one of the holiest sites in Eastern Orthodoxy and a product of the Byzantine tradition that brought Christianity and literacy to the Slavs. Russia is once again erecting monuments to and praising the butcher Stalin and his bloody cohort. Also keep in mind that the Russian Bolsheviks destroyed more Orthodox churches and monasteries than any other invading force in the history of the Slavic world, including the Ottomans.

By striking the Kyiv Pechersk Lavra, one of the greatest holy sites of Christianity, Putin has forever put his name on the list of history’s worst barbarians. He should be damned for centuries. And he will lose this war. From the Horde in the 13th century to the Nazis and Bolsheviks in the 20th century, Kyiv’s sacred monasteries have suffered numerous barbarically attacks. Now we are dealing with Russian terrorists who have already outmatched ISIS in their crimes against cultural heritage. Only Russian scum who have nothing sacred can deliberately damage the Kyiv Pechersk Lavra, a unique UNESCO heritage site under special protection. We will be urgently initiating all relevant procedures within UNESCO and all other international mechanisms, demanding immediate and adequate responses to this state barbarism. We expect strong reactions by international institutions and capitals. No vague words, silence, or weak steps. We need action now to stop Russian barbarism.

Rami is an incredibly important Palestinian voice for peace.
He was Jailed by H@mas for Talking to Israelis! Rami Aman (@RamiAman1) is a peace activist from Gaza who founded groundbreaking initiatives like "Skype with your enemies," facilitating dialogue between Palestinians and Israelis. For that work, H@mas branded him a traitor and threw him in prison. Today, he's still pushing his people to confront fear, challenge H@mas, and carry on the work of peace building. Well said
This video was published in January 2020. And that timing matters, because it shows Russian “Ukrainian biolab” propaganda did not magically appear after the 2022 invasion. Moscow had been dragging this corpse of a conspiracy around for years, especially against Ukraine, Georgia, Kazakhstan, and other post-Soviet countries that dared to cooperate with the West. The video explains the U.S. Biological Threat Reduction Program as exactly what the name says: a threat-reduction program. Its purpose was to help partner countries secure dangerous Soviet-era pathogens, improve disease detection, strengthen public-health laboratories, and stop natural outbreaks from becoming regional security disasters. In Ukraine, the official priority was to consolidate and secure pathogens and help detect and report disease outbreaks before they became wider threats. The U.S. Defense Threat Reduction Agency also states that the work was peaceful, subject to export-control and vetting processes, and did not sponsor gain-of-function research or human experimentation. The video also makes clear why Russia hated these labs: not because they were secret weapons sites, but because they represented Western cooperation with countries Moscow still treats like stolen property. Georgia’s Lugar Center is the perfect example. Russia smeared it as a U.S. proxy bioweapons facility, while Georgia opened it to international review. In 2018, 22 experts and observers from 17 countries inspected the Lugar Center under the Biological Weapons Convention framework and found transparency around its activities. Russian experts were invited, then refused to participate, because obviously the propaganda works better when you never look at the evidence. So the Russian narrative is not “skepticism.” It is geopolitical sewage with a lab coat thrown over it. The same machine that calls invasions “liberation” and civilian massacres “staged” also tried to turn public-health laboratories into cartoon villain bioweapon factories. The goal was not truth. The goal was fear, confusion, and poisoning public trust in countries moving closer to the West. The whole point of the video is transparency: these projects were not classified, scientists were encouraged to publish, international experts were invited in, and the work was described as peaceful public-health cooperation. Russia’s claim was the opposite: secret U.S. bioweapons plots on Russia’s borders. One side offered inspections, publications, and open cooperation. The other side offered paranoia, state media hysteria, and the usual Kremlin swamp gas. This is basically pre-2022 evidence that the “Ukrainian biolab” panic was never a serious argument. It was an old Russian disinformation weapon, reheated when useful, then thrown into the invasion narrative to make Russia look like the victim while it was the aggressor.

Will Europe Save Hamas in Gaza? I recently met with a high-ranking European official from a country deeply involved in the Israel and Palestine file to discuss Gaza’s future and immediate options for relieving civilians trapped under Hamas’s grip. I presented a simple proposal: create safe zones across the "Yellow Line" into the Israel‑controlled green zone and support new, organized, secure, Hamas‑free communities where Gazans could finally begin rebuilding their lives. Whether the issue is humane living conditions, deradicalization, education, healthcare, or shielding civilians from both Hamas or Israeli strikes, the green zone is the only place where meaningful action is possible. Instead of engaging, the official launched into a long monologue about their country’s contributions to the Palestinian Authority, UNRWA, and other institutions, all while insisting on their own “humility” as a faraway European nation. Then came the truly alarming part: a casual normalization of Hamas. The official proudly described how easy it had been to work with Hamas before October 7, praising the group for providing “excellent security” and being “easier to work with than others.” What they called pragmatism was, in reality, a twenty‑year pattern of enabling a violent terrorist organization responsible for immense civilian suffering. When I explained that any Hamas‑free zones would require vetting at the Yellow Line to prevent weapons or operatives from entering, the official reacted with shock. “This vetting would violate international law,” they repeated, insisting that their country could not fund projects with any checks on who enters. I noted the absurdity: I had undergone extensive vetting just to enter their country, and even this building, yet they believed Hamas fighters should be able to walk into new civilian safe zones unimpeded. Their only response was vague appeals to “international law,” which, in their interpretation, seems to require allowing terrorists to hide among civilians. The meeting ended on an even more surreal note. When the official asked what would happen to Hamas fighters left in the red zone, I said I didn’t care; they could fight the Israeli military on their own all they wanted once they no longer held two million civilians hostage. The official lamented that “this isn’t the old American West” and expressed concern for what would happen to Hamas without human shields. Disgust doesn’t begin to describe my feelings and reactions. I left convinced of something long suspected: Hamas’s twenty‑year rule was sustained not only by its own brutality but by an ecosystem of NGOs, donor nations, Western European governments, journalists, academics, activists, lawyers, and even self‑styled human‑rights defenders who normalized Hamas, treated it as a legitimate authority, or tolerated its abuses because their hostility toward Israel outweighed their concern for Gazans.

He didn't count on it because he is not used to it! He deals with regimes, dictators, oligarchs that decide on their own. They don't care for citizens, for democratic procedures and environment. It is mot on their mind. And Rama tried to do this for him - but they forgot that Albanians are free citizens and not subjects.
When Donald Trump’s son-in-law Jared Kushner decided to invest in a luxury holiday development on Albania’s idyllic southern coast, he probably didn’t count on provoking a national uprising. politico.eu/article/donald-t…

There are few things that I have more than whitewashing the rise of Nazism and their race theories through historical revisionism that they were "socialists". The favourite song of their successor till the 1960s, when they changed the plate to look more casual, and now starring with Musk and co.

HORRIFIC: Hamas militias have doubled down on their threats against Palestinian activist Nawal Ferwana and forced her to delete her Facebook post. According to reports from Gaza, this time they threatened her with death. Will any of the prominent pro-Palestinian activists who speak so passionately about Palestinian rights condemn Hamas for threatening a Palestinian woman with death for expressing her opinion? Palestinians deserve freedom of speech no matter who is trying to silence them.
A horrific story from Gaza. Hamas militias are threatening Palestinian activist Nawal Ferwana over her Facebook posts criticizing them. Their message: "Come to us, or we will drag you by your hair in front of everyone." Nawal has been living in a tent for two years. Her only "crime" was speaking her mind and posting on Facebook. This is Hamas: a terrorist militia that hunts down a displaced woman living in a tent for daring to express her views and say what many others are too afraid to say. Stand with the people of Gaza, not with the militias that oppress, intimidate, and silence them.
