there are inherent trust assumptions baked into your reliance on a hypernode to generate witness proofs.
this is no more trustless than thorchain’s decentralized sharded validator set (Yggdrasil).
a distributed network of anonymous validators leverages @thorchain’s cryptographic merkle proofs, threshold signature scheme (tss) via multiparty computation, and byzantine fault tolerance (bft) consensus to verify on-chain witness data and facilitate transactions between chains.
