Parker: Boeing "has not redesigned the valves" on Starliner, "these are the same valves."
"We have added sealant around the electrical connecter, which in the past" was an issue to moisture getting inside the valves.
Boeing’s Michelle Parker says the root cause is the mixture of NTO, ambient moisture, and aluminum housing the the valve that created the corrosion. Mitigations include efforts to reduce moisture, load NTO later, cycling the valves every few days.
