Similar but slightly different topic: if a character were to release with a t7 backdash, how much of a difference do you think it would make in the context of t8? Idk how it will interact with all the gigantic hitboxes, neutral skips, and canned situations

It's almost universally agreed that sidesteps were buffed in 8, but we also agree that the excessive tracking and realignment in 8 make it less effective. I wonder if backdash would be similar
