I mostly do Tekken 8 modding and make mods on commission.
But a little while ago, someone reached out and I ended up joining a 3D fighting game project.
My role is closest to a TA, and I'm trying to contribute by sharing as much of what I know as I can.
It's not some grand, massive project. It's an indie game through and through — we're not a company.
The team is really small, fewer than ten people.
So development is probably going to take quite a while.
And… I'm honestly really lazy. I figured if I at least mention it here, even loosely, I'll feel some responsibility and actually push myself harder. That's why I wanted to put it out there.
Because once I do, someday someone's going to ask me:
"Weren't you making a fighting game? How's that going?"
Keeping a question like that in the back of my mind is what gives me a sense of responsibility. I'll try to share more here once it's at a point where I can show it off. For now though, it's still very early days.
Of course, I will also continue to do modding...!
