On @TodaywithClaire Taoiseach @MichealMartinTD says Jim Gavin was going well early, which reminds of the Alan Partridge line that the Titanic had 2,000 miles of plain sailing before it hit iceberg #TodayCB

Some accusations are vague but the sheer volume of them suggests this should be accepted as fact, was Enoch Powell implicated in the Kincora scandal

It was obvious Mountbatten had become a liability by 1979. Though the IRA killed him, I'm sure 🇬🇧 secret services in 🇮🇪 were deliberately lax.

An absolutely compelling read. It briefly mentioned Ted Heath. I wonder what his relationship was with Peter Mandelson? Didn’t Mandelson used to be Secretary of State for Northern Ireland? You wonder if he might have known about this secret history of abuse.

Apart from Examiner, no coverage (at least online) from any Main Media about jaw-dropping comments by SF TD Joanna Byrne yesterday. And whilst she could have been clearer, she wasn't pulling the comments out of thin air, see Sunday World. Examiner doesn't mention Jim O'Brien 😮

How is it RTE is not reporting SF TD for Louth (Drogheda) Joanna Byrne comments in the Dail today. Surely this undermines the claim (unconfirmed by Gardai) the Drogheda IPAS arson was the result of racial hatred. There are obvious potential organised crime motives.

“Simply stated, there is no doubt that Saddam Hussein now has weapons of mass destruction. There is no doubt that he is amassing them to use them against our friends, against our allies, and against us.” —Dick Cheney. His lies killed over a million Iraqis, destroyed a nation, and he profited through all of it via his massive holdings of Halliburton stock, which was given approximately $39.5 billion in no-bid reconstruction contracts.
Prof. Jeffrey Sachs outlines how Dick Cheney, while Defense Secretary, wasn’t content with the dismantling of the Soviet Union, he wanted to see Russia dismembered and broken up into small countries. War criminal Dick Cheney passed away today at 84.

Give us examples of where this has worked, without increasing drug use.
The war on drugs needs to end. Today we will be calling for the decriminalisation of drug users and advocating for health-led drug policies. We need to approach this issue with compassion if we are to truly help those who need it the most.

After 20 Days, incredibly, Vandalising Ireland is still the No. 1 Bestseller on Amazon Ireland. That is a LOT of Irish households who will be reading and getting radicalised by it! Thank you. 👇👇👇

Again, your interpretation of the GFA is lacking. Dublin can't be neutral, its written into their Constitution. Its the unification of THEIR country. UK has to be neutral as its for the island of Ireland alone, without external impediment.

Strikes me as an interesting development. Since 1998 my view has been that it would be absurd to prevent either government having a say in something which would have a huge constitutional impact on both countries. Mind you, Conservatives have often said one thing and done another

GDP 2004: 🇬🇷 Greece: $234 billion 🇵🇱 Poland: $256 billion GDP 2024: 🇬🇷 Greece: $257 billion 🇵🇱 Poland: $908 billion This year Poland will exceed $1 trillion and will surpass Switzerland. Just stay outside of the Eurozone and follow free market principles. It’s that simple.
