In 1996, a King Penguin named Lala became a local celebrity in Shibushi, Japan. Rescued by the Nishimoto family after being injured in a fishing net, Lala refused to return to the wild. He lived in an air-conditioned room in their home and was famous for walking alone to the fish market wearing a tiny backpack. The fishmonger would feed him a fresh fish and place another in his bag for the trip home.

We were notified a few days ago from a few people that the Wisteria may be coated. After further investigation, we discovered that after our non coated pre-production sample, a coating was applied to the final units. We are a brand that has always stayed away from coatings, but unfortunately the Wisteria without our knowledge has one. Luckily, this is a coating we have tested in the past and it is a high quality coating that with care will last. This leads me to the future of our mousepads. This drop has had more issues behind the scenes than we would like to admit. Retailers late payments (some still unpaid), Manufacturer coating, USPS delays and damages, forwarder inconsistencies. With this all being said, we have a new factory and forwarder that will help prevent these kind of issues in the future. We are committed to high quality affordable mousepads. We have met with the new factory owners directly to discuss all prior issues with our old factory. Thank you for all your support.
