The rule requires a disclaimer on *every* online ad. When a full disclaimer canโt fit, the payor's name must appear & link to the full disclaimer.

There's too much dark money flowing in the shadows of our politics.
The DISCLOSE Act ensures groups that run issue ads to influence elections will have to disclose contributions above $10,000.
And foreign entities would be banned from making any contributions for these ads.

In 2017, Seattle made city races more competitive and diversified and grew the pool of people donating to political campaigns. Since then, no one's implemented the same reform, but that may be changing. . .

Yesterday, a landmark democracy initiative officially qualified for the November ballot, as the present Oakland City Councilmembers unanimously voted to place the Oakland Fair Elections Act initiative on this yearโs local ballot, centering voters & communities in local elections.
