Kenneth Walker was a no show at the Seahawks Super Bowl ring ceremony, despite saying he would attend.😳
Since the Seahawks thrashed the Patriots in Super Bowl 60, things have been awkward between Walker and Seattle. From GM John Schneider's drunken speech about Walker's extension during the Super Bowl parade to Walker beefing with Seahawks fans online, the relationship has been strained.
What makes this even more sad is Seahawks HC Mike Macdonald just said:
"We're all looking forward to seeing Ken. I know he's excited to come back. We love Ken. We're rooting for him. Honestly, I’m just looking forward to seeing him tonight and seeing the smile on his face, and I’m glad he got the contract that he did. He deserves it.”
Even players who joined new teams this offseason returned to Seattle for the ring ceremony, putting aside any differences. Walker, however, was nowhere to be found.
His absence, after saying he would come, only adds to the awkwardness surrounding his departure from Seattle.
