Sad to see how this went down
The NASCAR 25 Content Creator Series was supposed to be a big moment for the sport, but unfortunately, it missed the mark.
You only get one chance to make a strong first impression. When thereβs $100K on the line and major content creators and streamers are involved, especially to help reach a more casual, often skeptical audience, you have to nail the execution.
Itβs disappointing to see what couldβve been a fantastic opportunity to welcome new fans to the sport be overshadowed by technical issues and what appeared to be rushed or uneven planning. Hated to see the negative comments in the streams about the game and NASCAR... thousands of potential eyes getting their first impression of the sport or a new perspective of the sport turned away.
To be clear, I love NASCAR 25 and have a ton of respect for the developers who worked hard to bring new life and hope to NASCAR console gaming. Thatβs what makes this sting, seeing such a major, likely resource-heavy event fall flat when it had so much potential.
