I hope the Indian Police Forces also make necessary modifications of their colonial practices in their uniforms and customs/traditions. Hon'ble HM @AmitShah ji for information.
🇮🇳 Breaking from Colonial Legacy, Indian Army Embraces Indian Identity. 📍The Indian Army has unveiled a new dress policy aimed at phasing out several colonial era traditions and symbols. 📍Senior officers will wear Indian-style bandi jackets at official functions, replacing the traditional lounge suit. 📍Reviewing Officers will no longer carry ceremonial swords during parades and inspections. 📍The ceremonial sword presentation tradition at commissioning ceremonies is being discontinued. 📍The "Royal" designation and other British-era references are being gradually removed from military traditions and institutions. 📍Officers have been instructed to avoid unnecessary display of medals, badges and ceremonial accessories during routine functions. 📍Uniformity in dress standards has been introduced across commands to promote a modern and professional appearance. 📍Visible tattoos and body piercings have been restricted in line with the new policy. 📍The Army has prescribed guidelines for hairstyles, grooming and appearance to maintain uniform standards. 📍Colonial customs associated with dress and ceremonial practices are being phased out. 📍The reforms are part of the Army's broader effort to decolonise military traditions and strengthen a distinctly Indian identity. From bandi jackets to the end of ceremonial swords and royal tags, the Indian Army is turning the page on its colonial past and embracing its own traditions.

Millions of young Indians are competing for a handful of government jobs, while critical skilled professions like plumbing, carpentry, pottery, electrical work, and welding face a severe shortage of workers. Until we start valuing skills as much as degrees and government jobs, this imbalance will continue to hurt both employment and economic growth.

Mr Sushil Kumar Shinde,You damaged the country 's and Sanatan Dharm 's reputation to please your party and its agenda. By doing so you gave a handle to your enemy country Pakistan to spread a false narrative of" Bhagwan Atangwad '

Innovative step but depends how quickly they respond and perform. JMC and R&B Department should make local people as stake holders and follow the pattern of some states like Delhi and South India by keeping QR code boards for general public to report about potholes and other feedback. Let other Municipal Corporations also procure such machines.

#WATCH | Jammu, J&K | Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) has introduced a semi-automated pothole patching machine that utilises 'cold mix' technology to fill and permanently repair potholes.

The same Western media, along with Al Jazeera, that never misses a chance to lecture India on press freedom is now facing a complete blackout across the entire Middle East. All footage and clips emerging from Iran's ballisitic missile attacks in Jordan, Bahrain, and Kuwait are coming from OSINT sources, not the mainstream media. The sheer hypocrisy is hard to miss.

Zojila Tunnel is a true game changer for Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh. It will end the winter isolation that has plagued this region since time immemorial. Only made possible under the leadership India's longest-serving continuously elected Prime Minister, Sh. @narendramodi.

"Yeh jo dehshat gardi hai is ke pichhe Pakistan Army ki bardhi hai."
Every time Pakistan’s military regime crushes peaceful politics, it manufactures the next armed resistance. From losing Bangladesh to now facing deep fractures in Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan, Pakistan’s military regime keeps repeating the same mistake. 1. Bengalis protested, were killed, silenced, and dispossessed until resistance hardened into Mukti Bahini, the Bengali Liberation Force, and Bangladesh was born. 2. Pashtuns protested peacefully from the time of Badshah Khan. They were killed, disappeared, abducted, and tortured until peaceful politics gave way to armed movements such as the TTP, IMP, and others. Today, the conflict has moved dangerously close to the possibility of another national question emerging from within Pakistan. 3. Baloch protesters demanded rights. Their leaders were assassinated, activists abducted, tortured, and killed, while their lands and resources were handed over to outsiders. Over time, protest turned into full blown militancy, and groups such as the BLA, BLM, and Majeed Brigade emerged. Today, large parts of Balochistan are increasingly outside the effective control of the state, and the movement is pushing further toward the Balkanization of Pakistan. 4. Gilgit-Baltistan protested. People were killed, abducted, and silenced. Now even there, reports of militancy are emerging. 5. Kashmiris are protesting now. Their activists are being killed and abducted. If the same playbook continues, the outcome will not be different. The Pakistani military regime keeps repeating the same failed formula and then act surprised when resistance emerges. Pakistan’s biggest enemy is not its neighbors. It is its own military regime.

The rich can afford private transport, government employees enjoy official vehicles. What about the common man? The comfort and convenience of the common man should be at the heart of all planning.

Jammu, Jammu and Kashmir: Former DGP SP Vaid says, "I observe that Balochistan is no longer under their control, KPK is also slipping out of their control, and even areas of Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir (PoJK) are reportedly out of their influence. No responsible government massacres like this. You have massacred 300-400 innocent people who are peacefully protesting. You have massacred them by firing straight bullets..."

VIDEO | Jammu: On clashes in PoK, former J&K DGP SP Vaid says, "...The people of PoJK have completely demolished the narrative propagated by Pakistan...They are no longer willing to tolerate Pakistan's illegal occupation, and that is why they are protesting. However, the way unarmed people, who were protesting peacefully, were fired upon indiscriminately and massacred is unacceptable... No responsible state behaves in such a manner. But the Pakistan Army has never had any moral standards because it is illegally occupying PoJK. The sooner it leaves, the better it will be... Balochistan has already slipped out of its control..., and now PoJK and Gilgit-Baltistan are moving in the same direction." He adds, "The demands of the people are very basic. They are protesting against inflation and the lack of basic infrastructure. Even today, there is not a single airport in PoJK. On our side, we have three or four airports. They do not have even one medical college, whereas we have more than a dozen medical colleges and two AIIMS institutions. They have not been provided with proper hospitals or engineering colleges, while we have IIMs, IITs, and numerous engineering institutions... For years, Pakistan suppressed these realities. But today, in the age of social media, the people of PoJK can see how their counterparts on the Indian side enjoy better facilities and a higher quality of life. Naturally, they want similar opportunities and development. Instead of providing these, Pakistan responds with bullets..."
