The hardest part of a content site isn't writing, it's culling bad articles you already published. Spent today doing that and building a checklist so future-me has a quality bar. The curation is embarrassing but necessary. anyone else do post-launch audits? #buildinpublic #SEO

Submitted folders-ext to Chrome Web Store. The privacy tab makes you justify every permission, one by one. forced me to think through what data it touches. uncomfortable, weirdly useful. ever cut a permission just from filling that out? #buildinpublic

Caught myself writing drag-and-drop copy for NorthLab Folders that wasn't true. Fixed it before launch. There's something about a deadline that makes you rationalize vague claims. not worth it. one honest sentence beats a punchy lie. #buildinpublic #indiehackers

MCP has a registry problem. submitted agy-bridge to Glama, Smithery, and MCP Registry this week. each has different rules, Smithery flat-out rejects local stdio servers, Glama needs a Dockerfile just for build verification. is anyone else navigating this? #buildinpublic

Swapped folders-ext to live payment links today, rebuilt the paywall while I was in there. at some point the checkout becomes the product. spent more time on copy than code this week. is that how launch week always goes? #buildinpublic #indiehackers

CSS custom properties stop at shadow DOM. spent days figuring this out in folders-ext. had to probe light DOM and inject tokens into each shadow host. tedious but the alternative is transparent menus. anyone else fought extension theming? #buildinpublic

One reddit post gave me enough feedback about how people organize their chats in Claude to pick quick wins for the extension I am working on for myself and thought about bringing out to public northlabapps.com/folders/

Built agy-bridge this week: one MCP server config, works across Codex, Cursor, Windsurf, and Copilot. Hit a classic: print mode would just hang. wasn't closing child stdin. one-line fix, way too long to find. anyone else hit weird stdin edge cases? #buildinpublic

New milestone achievement in the journey of building SaaS products. What do you usually use to accept payments? The hardest part of building from a country where Stripe or Paypal is not available like Pakistan is getting approved by a MoR #buildinpublic #saas

Thought building a custom licensing system for folders-ext would be a weekend job. wrong. switched to Lemon Squeezy native license keys, the whole thing just works now. when do you decide to stop building infra and just buy? #buildinpublic #indiehackers

1/3 Tired of your free Google AI Pro / Gemini quota collecting dust while Claude Code burns tokens on massive file reads and git archaeology? 😩

2/3 I built agy-bridge — an MCP that lets Claude delegate heavy lifting to Antigravity CLI (agy) intelligently. Claude stays the smart orchestrator; Gemini does the grunt work. Result? Context fills 60-80% slower. Free quota finally gets used!
