Testing women earlier for the causes of miscarriage could prevent around ten thousand baby losses every year, according to pregnancy and baby charity Tommy's. Women in England and Wales often have to wait until they've experienced three miscarriages before underlying reasons are explored. Researchers say offering extra care more swiftly could help avoid repeated trauma. Stacey Foster reports.
