NASA’s James Webb Space Telescope just captured a breathtaking view of thousands of galaxies in a single frame. This isn’t just a photo—it’s a time machine. Some of the light comes from galaxies that existed only a few hundred million years after the Big Bang. With its powerful infrared vision, JWST is revealing ancient galaxies hidden behind cosmic dust and rewriting our understanding of the early universe. Every point of light is an entire galaxy. Incredible. ✨🌌

Stunning: Viewed from the side, NGC 4945 reveals a barred spiral structure much like that of the Milky Way. Bright star-forming regions trace its disk, while its brilliant central region may hide a supermassive black hole. (Credit: ESO)

Super! 💫 Data from @chandraxray has uncovered possible remains of a supernova in the middle of our Milky Way galaxy. If confirmed, this supernova piece would be one of the closest to our galaxy’s central black hole that we have ever found. go.nasa.gov/4aT7pvb

Underrated mission, so excited it’s finally almost there
The end of a journey, the start of arrival 🛰️🌑☀️ After 8 years of solar electric propulsion, @esa 's @BepiColombo switches off SEP as it enters its Mercury arrival phase! Next? MTM separation, orbit insertion & a bold new chapter around the innermost planet! 🎉 #bepicolombo

🌌 JWST just found the strongest evidence yet for black hole stars..!!in the early universe. These strange objects appear to be galaxies dominated by a single supermassive black hole at their center something current models never predicted. They formed when the universe was only a few hundred million years old. If black holes were already this dominant so early, it forces us to rethink how galaxies and even reality itself assembled. The past is rewriting the rules of the future again...!!

A Cosmic Rose? A dance in the deep? Or a cosmic thunderbolt? 🌹⚡️ This stunning image shows Arp 273, a pair of interacting galaxies shared by NASA. Located 300 million light-years away, two galaxies are performing a gravitational dance, moving around and even through one another. This slow-motion behaviour will continue for millions of years until, most likely, the two will merge into one single, massive galaxy. 🌌✨

Could the Little Mermaid turn into stardust instead of seafoam? It would seem so in this beautiful nebula. The featured image shows the Mermaid Nebula, also known as the Betta Fish Nebula, which is part of the G296.5 10.0 Supernova Remnant. The blue color visible here originates from doubly ionized oxygen (OIII), while the deep red is emitted by hydrogen gas. Estimated to be located a few thousand light-years away and about 10,000 years old, this nebula was formed when a massive star exploded as a supernova. It left behind a peculiar pulsar, a young radio-quiet neutron star that spins around about twice every second. The bright stars shown in the image are unassociated with the nebula. The pulsar can be detected in the X-rays but it does not have a confirmed detection in the optical (visible light) so far. As a result, the pulsar itself is not visible in this image.
